He attended the L’Eglise Wallonne church in Norwich, England in the 1560’s.
He must have moved in the latter part of 1568 to the city of London, as appears from a document in the Record Office in Chancery Lane, London, which gives a list of foreign residents as follows:“1568.Norton follie; the parish of St. Bottholphe, within Bishopes Gate:Bone Raparlie, Valencian, Silkweyver; Jane his wife; David, and Anne, his children.“Bonne remained in London and became a citizen there according to the following patent in the 18th year of Elizabeth:“Don Raperlye, from the dominions of the King of Spain, 11 Feb., 1576.“Another list of strangers in London confirms the year of arrival in England as 1567, and the year of naturalization as 1576: „1583.Boone Raparlye, silkewever, born in Valentia, and Jane his wife, have been here XVI yeres, and are of the Frenche Churche: denison VII yeare.“
A list of foreign residents in London is found in the Hatfield House, in the Salisbury MSS, and it contains this entry: „1585: Boone Raparleye, silkweaver, born in Valenciennes, and Jane his wife, of the French Chruch, living in Black Friars.“In a tax list of 1597 there appears as living in Colman Street Ward, St. Stephen’s Parish:“Bon Raperelly, and Barbara, his wife, XVI de. taxe per polle.“.In the tax lists for 1598, and 1600 we find his last name spelled as „Raperley.“We also find „Bon Raparlye“ mentioned for the last time on July 23, 1604, as a witness in the French Church on Threadneedle street, London, to the baptism of Jean, son of Jean Loreau, and Susanna Rapallier.
